Returns and Refunds Policy

1. Overview

At OZ Gadget Hub, we aim to provide high-quality gadgets and household items. While we carefully check all products before shipping, we understand there may be rare situations where a return or exchange is needed.

Please read this policy carefully, as certain conditions must be met before a return is approved.


2. Change of Mind Returns

We do not accept returns for change of mind, incorrect choice, or if you simply find the product cheaper elsewhere. Please ensure you read all product descriptions and specifications before purchasing.


3. Eligibility for Returns

To qualify for a return, the following conditions must be met:

  • The item must be unused, unopened, and in its original packaging with all tags, manuals, and accessories intact.
  • A return request must be submitted within 7 days of delivery (based on tracking information).
  • You must provide clear photographic evidence showing the product’s condition and proof of purchase.
  • The product must be returned using a trackable shipping method at your own cost.

If any of the above conditions are not met, your return may be refused.


4. Faulty or Damaged Items

If your item arrives faulty or damaged:

  1. Contact us within 48 hours of delivery via email at sales@ozgadgethub.com.au.
  2. Include photos or videos clearly showing the fault/damage and the packaging it arrived in.
  3. Our team will assess whether the fault qualifies for a replacement, repair, or refund under Australian Consumer Law.

We may require you to return the product for inspection before any refund or replacement is issued.


5. Non-Returnable Items

We do not accept returns for:

  • Products damaged by misuse, neglect, or improper handling
  • Items without original packaging or missing accessories/manuals
  • Clearance or sale items (unless faulty under Australian Consumer Law)
  • Perishable, consumable, or hygiene-sensitive products once opened

6. Return Shipping Costs

  • All return shipping costs are the buyer’s responsibility unless the product is confirmed to be faulty or damaged due to our error.
  • We are not responsible for lost or damaged parcels during return transit, so we strongly recommend using registered post with insurance.

7. Refund Processing

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you if your refund is approved.
If approved:

  • Refunds will be issued to your original payment method only
  • Processing may take up to 14 business days after approval
  • Original shipping fees are non-refundable
